Electric Guitar amplifiers are usually limited by the availability of Power Outlets and cord lengths, but what if I told you there was a way you could make your guitar amplifier portable!?

Here is an example of an actual portable amp:

Already own a Speaker? Here is another great option: Pocket POD

How To Make Your Electric Guitar Portable using the Pocket POD. The Pocket POD does not have an on/off switch, instead it will turn on anytime you plug in the guitar cord. The portable aspect of this device means that it requires batteries, four AAA batteries to be exact, make sure to have an extra set incase you run out of charge. Once you have your guitar plugged into the Pocket POD you’ll need to connect the speaker with the POD via ‘Direct Out/Phones’ . The POD comes with a few plug-in ports to make it easy as possible.

Find a double male headphone cable, something like this!

Connect the Speaker to the POD with the audio cable and start jamming away! The Pocket POD comes with 300 preset sounds right out of the box to ensure that you’ll find the sound you need with a few clicks of a button. Here is a fun speaker that we have used with this setup!
